Stewart Connector, a Bel group company has launched its Category 8.2 series, comprising of cable mounted field terminatable keystone jacks and cable assemblies (patch cords) that support coming Ethernet speeds of 25GBASE-T and 40GBASE-T over copper twisted pair cable. They are created to exceed Category 8.2 performance standards up to 2GHz as defined by ISO/IEC 11801-1 Class II and can support 100W PoE applications in a 30m channel.

The series expands the company’s ARJ45 Category 7a product line to the next level and makes it the best performing twisted pair interconnect system offered for Ethernet connectivity. The company's connectors provide end to end pair isolation and utilise individually shielded pair cable minimising internal and alien crosstalk. The series is a cost-effective solution for data centres looking to upgrade their data transmission speeds without switching over to a more costly fibre optic solution.

This series also offers ideal solutions for Ethernet networking, industrial equipment interfaces, defence communications, and other high speed and high noise networking protocols.
