Mouser offers the STMicroelectronics BlueNRG-2N Bluetooth Low Energy Wireless Network Coprocessors. The device integrates an Arm Cortex M0 core, power management, clocks, Bluetooth low energy radio, random number generator, external microcontroller interface (SPI/UART), and public-key cryptography. The device embeds the STM state-of-the-art RF radio IPs, uniting unparalleled performance with exceptionally long battery lifetime, making it an excellent solution for Bluetooth low energy applications.

The device is Bluetooth 5.0 certified, providing interoperability with the latest generation of smartphones and other host devices. The device is fully compliant with Bluetooth core specification version 5.0. It supports enhanced features including state-of-the-art security, privacy, and extended packet length for more rapid data transfer up to 700kbps at the application level.

The Bluetooth low energy stack runs on the embedded ARM Cortex M0 core and is held in the on-chip non-volatile Flash memory. The stack can be readily upgraded through SPI/UART as well through the company's dedicated software tools.
