Rectangular power connectors offer a flexible power solution

TE Connectivity's Power Versa-Lock 5.0 Rectangular Power Connectors, available now from Mouser, are for wire-to-wire applications and provide a flexible power solution that gives a current rating of up to 15A.

The connector series offers an optional IP67-rated perimeter interface and gang seals to provide waterproofing capabilities. The series provides a tab-and-receptacle contact design with four points of contact for greater reliability.

A connector mounting clip on the cap housings assists in reducing connector movement for high-vibration applications such as washing machines. This feature replaces the requirement for manually installing wire ties to secure mounting clips, assisting to reduce the manual labour needed in the assembly process.

The connectors are ideal for sealed and unsealed applications and white goods.
