New switch supports the demand for cellular C-V2X connectivity

Skyworks introduces the SKY5A1007, a new switch in its portfolio of Sky5 product solutions, designed to support the ever-growing demand for cellular C-V2X connectivity. The device is a state-of-the-art CMOS, SOI DPDT switch with high-linearity performance, low insertion loss, and high isolation. The device facilitates high-speed switching between antennas for high data throughput and minimises the need for additional filtering.

The device satisfies the requirements for 5G automotive telematics including operation within the cellular, 5GNR and 5.9 GHz C-V2X bands while supporting the extensive temperature range required for this emerging technology.

The DPDT switch is offered in a compact Quad Flat No-Lead (QFN) 1.83mm x 1.83mm x 0.5mm package.
