Analog Devices ADCA3990 CATV Power Doubler Hybrid delivers very high RF output, and up to 76.8dBmV composite power. The device also produces 67dBmV virtual level by employing advanced circuit design techniques. These techniques include GaAs, pHEMT die, and GaN HEMT die. The device is supplied in the industry-standard SOT115J. The DC current and supply voltage can be modified externally for optimum distortion performance versus power consumption over a variety of output levels.

The device offers very low distortion and a low noise figure covering 3dB at 45MHz, 4dB at 1218MHz. The device is unconditionally stable and has transient and surge protection. The VCC range is from 24V to 34V, with a configurable current from 400mA to 550mA maximum.

Typical applications include 45MHz to 1218MHz CATV infrastructure amplifier systems; remote PHY and fibre deep nodes; and DOCSIS 3.1 compliant.
