Analog Devices AD7134 Quad Channel Precision ADC is a low noise, simultaneous sampling, precision ADC that provides on functionality, performance, and ease of use. Based on the CTSD modulation scheme, the device removes the traditionally needed switched capacitor circuitry sampling preceding the Σ-Δ modulator. This feature guides to a relaxation of the ADC input driving requirement. The device CTSD architecture also inherently rejects signals round the ADC aliasing frequency band, providing the device with its inherent antialiasing ability, and eliminates the requirement for a complex external antialiasing filter.

The device provides four independent converter channels in parallel, each with a CTSD modulator and a digital decimation and filtering path. The device allows simultaneous sampling of four separate signal sources, each supporting a maximum input bandwidth of 391.5kHz and delivering tight phase matching between these four signal measurements. The high level of channel integration, together with the simplified analog front-end demand, allows the device to offer a high-density multichannel data acquisition solution in a small form factor.
