Wideband high-power amplifiers consistently deliver high output power

ERZIA Technologies offers a breakthrough in a design approach that satisfies the call for wideband high-power amplifiers (WHPAs) that provide both broadband frequency coverage and consistent output power through bands as high as E-band. These designs are amongst the first of their kind to be able to withstand the hardest environments while holding output power in place. The company developed these solutions in direct response to EW designers regularly showing frustration over power variances throughout their critical wider band applications. Other designers also noted a requirement for a single HPA to assist a variety of multi-band uses among their teams.

“When we delivered our first wideband HPAs with our new design approach, our customer was certain his highly sensitive, high frequency ATE stand would identify at least a blip in power difference across the full bandwidth,” says Luis Garcia, founder and CEO at ERZIA. “He found no such change on each of a handful of broadband microwave designs we now offer as standardised commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) wideband high-power amplifiers or WHPAs.”

The current lineup of WHPAs comprises models displaying the following bandwidth/output power combinations: 1-23GHz/27dBm; 2-18GHz/30dBm; 15-27GHz/29dBm; 17-43GHz/22dBm; 24-40GHz/22dBm; 26-40GHz/33dBm; 33-47GHz/29dBm and 75-83GHz/27dBm.
