Varistors protect against surges in the low and medium voltage range

Bourns PV Series Varistors, available now from Mouser, are created to protect electronic equipment against voltage surges in the low and medium voltage range. The series offers an operating voltage range of 14VDC to 385VDC, an operating voltage of 11VRMS to 300VRMS, and is provided in 3255 and 4032 case sizes. The varistors provide a non-flammable UL 94 V-0 rated thermoplastic encapsulation and tinned copper sheet contacts.

The device offers +85C and is available in tape and reel packaging for automatic pick-and-place. The varistor is RoHS compliant.

The varistors applications include white goods, entertainment electronics, power supplies, and sensors.
