Full-wave fan motor drivers for general consumer equipment

ROHM Semiconductor BD612xx Full-Wave Fan Motor Drivers, available now from Mouser, are multi-function and single-phase motor drivers.

These drivers control speed by PWM input and provide PWM soft switching, lock protection, and automatic restart. The motor drivers are provided in various versions that are composed of H-bridge power DMOS FETs or pre-drivers for external power MOSFETs. These motor drivers give a rotation speed pulse signal (FG) output.

The motor drivers operating temperature range is between -40C to 105C.

Typical applications include fan motors for general consumer equipment of desktop PCs, projectors, servers, and refrigerators.
