Surface mount fixed resistors provide long-term stability

The Isabellenhutte resistors are available now from RS Components in common package sizes. This resistor is the 15mOhm in 2512 (6432M) SMD resistor 1% 2.5W @ 70C.

The device has a 2.5W power rating at 70C with a constant current of up to 16A (10mOhm) and a high pulse power rating. The device offers good long-term stability and can be mounted using reflow, and IR-soldering. The resistors are AEC-Q200 qualified and RoHS 2011/65/EU compliant.

The resistors are suitable as a current sensor for power hybrid application; control systems for the automotive market; power modules; frequency converters; switch-mode power supplies; and drivers for LED light systems.
