Intel NUC 8 Rugged PC, available now from Mouser, is an embedded computer created to endure environments where most PCs are unable to function, from a busy factory floor to a dusty warehouse. The PC offers a fanless, ventless design to reduce particle intrusion, and can function in temperatures from 0C to +40C. The device is also qualified for 24x7 continuous operations, a crucial feature for IoT and commercial operations.

The device is housed in a compact 4.2" x 6" x 1.2" chassis, offering VESA mounting holes, zip-tie indentations, picture frame keyholes, and a Kensington lock with base security. The PC is also offered as a board-only option that can be readily integrated into custom digital solutions. The device is powered by an Intel Celeron processor, making it the perfect PC solution to maintain edge analytics, digital signage, or surveillance cameras up and running around the clock.

Typical applications include digital signage, hospitals, medical clinics for mobile pedestal computing, IoT, operator consoles in manufacturing environments, quick service restaurants, edge analytics, and surveillance solutions.
