Bel Fuse-Circuit Protection has released their 0680L Series of ceramic surface mount fuses with in-rush current withstand ability in a 2410 SMD package size. These slow blow fuses are created for automotive and applications which demand high DC voltage ratings and high DC interrupting ratings.

The company's fuses are compatible with the 260-degree, IR Pb-free solder process and highlight a current rating from 375mA to 12A and a broad operating temperature range of -55V to 125C. These fuses are also AEC-Q200 compliant, RoHS compliant (with exemption 7(a)), halogen-free (MSL = 1) and lead free. Also, they are packaged in tape and reel for the auto-insert SMD process and satisfy the Bel automotive qualification, which is based on the AEC-Q test plan.

Typical applications for the series incorporates notebooks, PCs and office electronic equipment, LCD/LED monitors and TVs, industrial and medical equipment, power supplies, PoE, PoE+, storage systems, telecommunication systems, white goods, wireless base stations, game consoles and battery charging circuit protection applications which need slow blow or time delay fuses to power the 2410 chip.
