These products are ideal for filtering out EMI/RFI noise generated by motors or switch mode power supplies on DC lines or I/O lines in electronic circuits. With MLV employed in the product, effective transient voltage protection is delivered to guard sensitive electronics from high voltage transients. On the other hand, the capacitor absorbs high-frequency noise on the line. The MLCC capacitors are produced with temperature stable X7R dielectric, providing for broad temperature use with good capacitance stability. The surface-mount devices are defined with a very small form factor to reduce board space. The parts are assembled utilising high melting point solder (268C solidus/290C liquidus) providing for standard reflow processing during board-level assembly with no risk of reflowing HMP solder.

The company Surface Mount MLCCs are offered in both Class 1 and Class 2 formulations. Temperature compensating formulation are Class 1, and temperature stable and general application formulations are classified as Class 2.
