Mouser has a new eBook created in collaboration with Bourns, examining new technologies, components, and strategies for the design and development of electric vehicles. In Electrification of the Vehicle, experts from both companies give detailed explanations of products and concepts comprising inductor designs for on-board chargers, shunt resistors, and the usage of inductors and current sense resistors to decrease automotive emissions.

Quoting industry surveys and industry projections, the eBook predicts increasing adoption of electric vehicles in the United States. To maintain pace with growing numbers of electric vehicles, vital strides must be made in the development of charging infrastructure. The eBook provides some of the most important challenges associated with electric vehicles and charging stations, offering in-depth guides to possible technical solutions and useful products.

The new eBook includes comprehensive information on products such as the Bourns Model CSM2F Series of shunt resistors. Offered in three footprint sizes, the series gives accurate current-sense measurements in high-energy storage applications.

The eBook also incorporates key features and ordering information for over a dozen products from Bourns, comprising BMS signal transformers and SRN automotive semi-shielded power inductors.
