External PSUs approved for industrial and healthcare applications

Available now from RS Components is XP Power d ALM200 PSU aimed at modern medical applications, incorporating safety approvals for home-based healthcare, and IT applications where energy efficiency and safety approvals are crucial. Typical efficiencies for the ALM200 model is 92%. The new PSUs satisfy Energy Efficiency Level VI and use less than 0.15W in standby mode.

For medical applications, the PSU is approved to ANSI/AMMI ES60601-1, ANSI/AMMI HA60601-1-11, EN/IEC60601-1 and EN/IEC60601-1-11; and also approved to UL/EN/IEC62368 & IEC60950 for ITE applications and carry CCC, PSE, KC and RCM approvals. The product is also compliant with all the current EMC legislation incorporating the medical 60601-1-2 4th edition.

Offering high efficiency, the PSU is housed in an IP32 vent-free plastic case, and a smooth surface finish making it simple to wipe down in a clinical setting.
