Texas Instruments LAUNCHXL-CC26X2R1 LaunchPad Development Kit supports evaluation of both the SimpleLink Bluetooth low energy CC2642R wireless MCU and the SimpleLink Multi-Standard CC2652R wireless MCU. The devices are part of the SimpleLink MCU platform which comprises of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Low Energy, Sub-1GHz, Thread, Zigbee, 802.15.4, and host MCUs. The MCU platform shares a common, easy-to-use development environment with a single core SDK and rich tool set.


The SimpleLink platform enables any combination of a portfolio’s devices into a design, allowing 100% code reuse when design requirements change. The LaunchPad kit supports programming and debugging from Code Composer Studio, and IAR Embedded Workbench IDEs.


Users can upgrade the LaunchPad firmware over-the-air from the SimpleLink Starter app. Access all I/O signals with the BoosterPack connectors/ Functionality can be expanded with one of the BoosterPacks available


The kit is supplied with LaunchPad board, Micro USB cable, and Quick Start Guide.
