DC-DC converters maximise performance and cost-efficiency

Available now from Mouser, the TRACO Power TEN 40E and TEN 40WIE 40W DC-DC Converters were designed to maximise performance, reliability and cost-efficiency in the industry-standard 2" x 1" footprint. The converters feature six-sided metal shielding, remote on/off function and, output voltage trim functions. The modules are offered with either a 2:1 input (TEN 40E) or 4:1 input (TEN 40WIE) range and are certified to IEC/EN/UL 62368-1.

With efficiencies up to 93%, there is minimum heat-loss and a full-load convection-cooled operation of -40C to +70C ambient (model dependent) and operation up to +85C with derating. The MTBF has been increased to <1.2 million hours according to MIL-HDBK-217F and is protected against short circuit, overvoltage and overtemperature.

The converters target applications include industrial equipment, instrumentation and any distributed power architecture where space is critical on the PCB.
