Users or suppliers of refrigeration equipment to the European market will be very aware of the progressing legislation driving the transition to refrigerant gases with a lower GWP. The European legislation in 2020 outlaws the usage of refrigerants with a GWP over 2500, therefore, speeding the progressive change from the employment of high GWP refrigerant gases to the new lower GWP gases like R290, R1234, CO2 and ammonia.
