Silicon linear thermistors for temperature measurement, protection and compensation

Texas Instruments TMP61/TMP61-Q1 Silicon Linear Thermistors provide a linear positive temperature coefficient that results in a uniform, consistent temperature coefficient resistance across a wide operating temperature range.

These devices are created for temperature measurement, compensation, protection, and control systems. In comparison to traditional NTC thermistors, the devices provide enhanced linearity and consistent sensitivity over the entire temperature range. They also provide a robust performance due to their resistance to environmental variation and their built-in fail-safe behaviour at high temperatures.

These devices are available in a two-pin, surface-mount, 0402 footprint-compatible X1SON package and a two-pin, through-hole, mini-sized transistor-outline TO-92S package. The MP61-Q1 devices are AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications.
