Proximity/touch controller is ideal for swipe implementation in headphones and earphones

Azoteq IQS223 ProxSense Proximity/Touch Controller is a three-channel self/projected capacitive proximity and touch controller offering high-performance sensitivity, signal to noise ratio, and power consumption. The controller also features automatic sense electrodes tuning, an internal reference capacitor, and an internal regulator. The device is perfect for swipe implementation in headphones and earphones for volume adjustment and track selection.

The device automatically tracks slow varying environmental changes via various filters, suppresses noise, and is equipped with an Automatic Tuning Implementation to adjust the device for optimal sensitivity and to compensate for changes in the operating environment.

The controller is provided in a 16-pin QFN package, and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
