Emergency stop pushbutton switches minimise failures during emergency shutdowns

Omron A22NE-PD Emergency Stop Pushbutton Switches, available now from Mouser, feature a Lock Detection contact that reduces E-stop failures during emergency shutdowns. This detection feature provides machines with an extra fail-safe mechanism by disengaging the contacts in the event of improper switch installation or damage to the lock lever. Built-in Push-in Plus terminals and IP65/69K-rated models make the device a reliable and robust switch solution for the harshest work environments.

The switches offer up to four contacts and include lighted options. There are 30mm, 40mm and 60mm operator heads available.
