Fairview Microwave has released a full line of coaxial-packaged tunnel diode detectors that are offered with no MOQ and same-day shipping. These detectors are perfect for proof-of-concept and prototype applications for aerospace and defence, SATCOM, test and measurement applications, defence and commercial radar, and more.

The company's new product line incorporates 26 tunnel diode detector models that run over octave and broadband frequencies ranging from 100MHz to 26GHz. These zero biased designs provide rugged, germanium planar construction and are supplied in both positive and negative video output polarities. They give exceptional dynamic range with efficient low-level signal detection, plus an particularly fast pulse response rise time of 5nsec typical. These detectors have maximum input power handling of +17dBm and display a flat video output response over wide frequency bands across a maximum temperature range of -65C to +115C. All models are RoHS and REACH compliant and offered in compact cylindrical packages that provide an SMA male RF input connector and an SMA female video output connector.

“This new comprehensive line of tunnel diode detectors covers a variety of applications and is ideal when fast and sensitive power detection capability is needed. Plus, these designs are offered with detailed datasheets, applications support and same-day shipping with no MOQ required,” said Tim Galla, product manager.
