ESD protection for automotive applications

TDK SMD Multilayer Varistors (= MLV = CeraDiode = CTVS) are an excellent solution for ESD and surge protection. These varistors are available now from TTI Europe. TDK provides a broad range of automotive MLVs with the latest series B72*G*. The series provides a very high energy absorption and surge robustness that makes it especially suitable for ESD protection against automotive transient (load-dump, jump-start).

The varistors are ideal for many applications including data bus systems, infotainment, safety, battery control units, load dump/jump start protection, HVAC, air-conditioning, LED lighting, diagnostic systems, and electric drives.
