New wideband amplifier covers 30kHz to 40GHz for instrumentation and communication applications

MACOM Technology Solutions has a new wideband distributed amplifier with the introduction of the MAAM-011275-DIE.

Provided as a bare-die, this amplifier is suitable for application in test and measurement and communications equipment with broadband frequency coverage from sub-6GHz to mmW. The amplifier supports wideband operation from 30kHz up to 40GHz with typical gain of 15dB. The input and output are fully matched at 50Ohm with typical return loss of 13dB across the band.

The device adds to the company's portfolio of wideband amplifier solutions, and is available now. The company will showcase its RF portfolio at the IMS 2019, new product solutions optimised for 5G, wireless base stations, radar, test and measurement and ISM applications.
