Demo circuit for controller offers protection against inductive transients

Analog Devices/Linear Technology DC2706A Demonstration Circuit offers two independent LTC4376 ideal diode circuits sharing a common ground and run over a span of 4V to 40V. The LTC4376 is an excellent diode controller with integrated MOSFET and –40V reverse input protection.

The device offers a current capability of 7A. The DC2706A demonstrates the high side switch functionality of the LTC4376 by using a further switch MOSFET in connection with the GATE pin of the device.

The controller features voltage and current capability shutdown, and protection against inductive transients.
