Ultra-micro power connectors connector system supports offers space-saving pitch

Mouser now offers the mPOWER ultra-micro power connector system from Samtec. Providing current ratings up to 21A per blade in a 2mm pitch, the connectors provide an ultra-small, high-power solution with outstanding design flexibility for power-only or power-and-signal applications.

The company’s connector system offers gold-plated power blades and frees up board space compared to other 21A solutions. Engineers can use system as a standalone high-power solution or with one of the company's high-speed connector systems, such as SEARAY or Tiger Eye, for a unique two-piece power and signal/ground solution.

With stack heights from 5mm to 12mm, the system can be easily added to new or existing architectures. Additional design flexibility is offered with a choice of two, three, four, or five power blades, where each has two-stage mating and can be selectively loaded to fulfil any specific creepage and clearance demands.
