Texas Instruments OPAx990 Low-Offset Low-Power Op-Amps are a high voltage (40V) family of general purpose operational amplifiers. These devices provide exceptional DC precision and AC performance, comprising rail-to-rail input/output, low offset (±300µV, typ), and low offset drift (±0.6µV/C, typ).

The device has unique features including differential and common-mode input voltage range to the supply rail, high short-circuit current (±80mA), high slew rate (4.5V/µs) and shutdown. These features make the device a remarkably robust, flexible, and high-performance op-amp for high-voltage industrial applications. This family of op-amps is offered in micro-size packages (such as X2QFN, WSON, and SOT-553), as well as standard packages (such as SOT-23, SOIC, and TSSOP) and are specified from –40C to 125C.

Typical applications include multiplexed data-acquisition systems; Test and measurement equipment; ADC driver and reference buffer amplifier; Programmable logic controllers; High-side and low-side current sensing; and High precision comparator.
