Connectors support 400GbE data centre applications

Mouser is now supplying OSFP input/output (I/O) connectors from TE Connectivity. The company's next-generation OSFP connectors are created for maximum thermal and electrical performance in data centre applications. These OSFP connectors provide 400GbE speeds over eight electrical lanes to support equipment that operates at up to 56Gbps PAM-4 and 28Gbps NRZ. The SMT connectors provide a 60-position interface with a two-row design on a proven 0.6mm contact pitch. Providing low PCB cost and noise, the SMT connectors are belly-to-belly capable with in-ground alignment. The company's OSFP connectors are ideal for a mixture of data communications applications, including routers, network switches, servers, and interface cards.
