Digital input closed-loop audio amplifier ideal for automotive applications

The TAS5720A-Q1, from Texas Instruments, is a mono I2S input Class-D audio amplifier which is perfect for use in automotive emergency call, acoustic vehicle alerting system, telematics and EV/HEV sound generation applications. The device provides up to 25W instantaneous power into 4Ohm at 10% THD+N at 14.4V. The device also comprises hardware and software (I²C) control modes, selectable gain options, an integrated digital clipper, and a wide power supply operating range (4.5V-26.4V). The device is provided in a thermally enhanced 32-Pin TSSOP package.
