Espressif Systems ESP32-WROOM-32 MCU Modules, available now from Mouser, are powerful and generic Wi-Fi/BT/BLE MCU modules that are aimed at a broad variety of applications. These modules target applications which range from low-power sensor networks to demanding tasks, including music streaming, voice encoding, and MP3 decoding. The module is different from ESP32-WROOM-32D as it combines a U.FL connector which requires to be connected to an external IPEX antenna. The MCU Modules use the ESP32-D0WD chip at its core. This SoC highlights two CPU cores that can be separately controlled, and the CPU clock frequency is adaptable from 80MHz to 240MHz. The device integrates a strong set of peripherals, which range from capacitive touch sensors, SD card interface, Hall sensors, Ethernet, high-speed SPI, UART, I2S, and I2C.
