Temperature measurement device ideal for consumer and industrial applications

MikroElektronika MIKROE-3004 Temp-Log 2 click, available from Mouser, is an accurate ambient temperature measurement device with extra non-volatile (EEPROM) memory which can be employed to permanently store system configuration. This click uses 64bits of general purpose EEPROM for recording application specific or user preference data. The device covers a temperature range from -55C to 125C with high accuracy of ±0.2C in the range from -10C to 85C. This click can send an ALERT signal to the INT pin of the mikroBUS each time programmed temperature thresholds are exceeded. The click is perfect for a variety of consumer, industrial, communication, computer, and similar applications. The device uses the TMP116 high-accuracy, low-power, digital temperature sensor from Texas Instruments. The TMP116 uses a diode type temperature sensor with an internal sigma-delta 16bit ADC for the temperature measurement and conversion.
