Mouser is stocking the quad-channel, 1GSPS ADS54J64 ADC from Texas Instruments. The 14-bit ADC provides high SNR, wide bandwidth, and a maximum output sampling rate of 500MSPS. Ideal for a mixture of applications that includes telecommunications receivers and microwave receivers, the ADC supports a high-speed JESD204B serial data interface, simplifying connections to processors and offering data rates up to 10Gbps with one lane per channel. The ADC produces uniform impedance across a wide frequency range through the application of an analog input buffer. The device gives low power consumption of just 2.5W and offers an impressive SFDR over a broad input frequency range. The digital signal processing block assists up to a 200MHz bandwidth and employs complex mixers followed by low-pass filters with decimate-by-2 and 4 options. The ADC also provides support for multi-chip synchronization. The company’s ADC is perfect for use in a variety of equipment, including multi-carrier telecommunications receivers, GSM base stations, communications test equipment, radar and antenna arrays, microwave receivers, and digitisers. The ADC can also be utilised in medical applications including diagnostics and medical imaging.
