RS Components now offers the Lumileds LUXEON CZ optically advanced portfolio of colour and white LED emitters. Designed to deliver a significant lighting punch regarding candela and lumen density, the high-density portfolio provides an optimal LED answer for a range of lighting market sectors which includes architecture and entertainment, colour-tuneable lamp, and speciality lighting use for emergency vehicles. The portfolio covers a full spectrum of colour choices including red, red-orange, amber, PC amber (phosphor converted), mint, green, cyan, blue and royal blue. Dominant or peak wavelengths for the devices range from 624-634nm for red, to 520-540nm for green, to 440-460nm for royal blue. Other characteristics of the colour portfolio include luminous/radiant flux measurements ranging from 31mW, typically, for red; up to 425mW, typically, for royal blue; all with a tolerance of ±6.5%. The white LED series includes devices with 3000K, 4000K, 5000K and 5700K CCT with respective typical luminous flux measurements of 99, 109, 110 and 110mW. Also, typical luminous efficacy (lumens per watt) is 133 for the three higher CCT devices. With an particularly low thermal resistance, each device in the range comes in a small and symmetrical 2mm x 2mm2 package.
