Maxim Integrated Amplifiers are available now from Mouser. These devices use the electric power from a power supply and increase the amplitude of a signal for a variety of electronic products. The company's portfolio includes a wide selection of operational amplifiers (op amps), current-sense amplifiers, and comparators for signal conditioning, monitoring, and control applications. The line of op amps include ICs for precision and low noise, high voltage, low power and space savings, and those with CMOS inputs.
The current-sense amplifiers monitor current flow through a shunt (sense) resistor and provide closed-loop feedback of system loads. They are designed for high-side and low-side sensing and also for unidirectional and bidirectional current flow through the sense resistor. Moreover, the comparators include ICs with low pin count that do not require a separate power pin.
One of the newest amplifiers in the portfolio is the MAX40658 transimpedance amplifier with a 100mA input current clamp. Ideal for industrial and automotive LiDAR applications, the device offers low noise, high gain, low group delay, and fast recovery from overload.
