Texas Instruments MSP430FR2422 is part of the MSP430 value line MCU portfolio. This offers the company's lowest cost family of MCUs for sensing and measurement applications. The MCU provides 8KB of non-volatile memory with an eight-channel 10-bit ADC. The architecture, FRAM, and integrated peripherals, together with comprehensive low-power modes, are optimised to deliver extended battery life in portable and battery-powered sensing applications. The device is available in a 16-pin TSSOP or a 20-pin VQFN package. The MSP430 ultra-low-power FRAM MCU platform combines uniquely embedded FRAM and holistic ultra-low-power system architecture, enabling system designers to boost performance while decreasing energy consumption. FRAM technology couples the low-energy fast writes, flexibility, and endurance of RAM with the non-volatility of flash. The MCU is backed by a comprehensive hardware and software ecosystem with reference designs and code examples to get your design started quickly.
