Sigma Designs has unveiled its new 700-Series Z-Wave platform, which includes many performance and technological enhancements in RF performance and energy-efficiency while being cost-effective, is built to power the context-aware smart home. The series is a long-range, low power and future-proof hardware platform with integrated software tools and building blocks offering a whole new generation of Z-Wave sensor devices. They will drive the battery-powered device trend, empowering AI and machine learning systems to utilise sensor data and make smart homes even smarter, safer and more connected. "Sigma’s Z-Wave 700-Series chip will completely reshape the meaning of smart home.
