Mouser offers the RSL10 multi-protocol SoC from ON Semiconductor. Giving ultra-low-power wireless connectivity for a wide range of applications, this versatile Bluetooth 5-certified SoC supports Bluetooth low energy technology as well as 2.4GHz proprietary or custom protocol stacks. The SoC features a 48MHz Arm Cortex-M3 processor bolstered by a 32-bit dual-Harvard DSP core that supports the audio codecs required for wireless audio communication. The device also includes both flash and RAM, and its diverse memory architecture allows storage of the Bluetooth stack, as well as other applications. The SoC is supported by the RSL10 Evaluation Board, which offers access to all input and output connections through standard 0.1" headers. Also, the board gives an onboard communication interface circuit with a J-Link solution to allow users to debug the board through a USB/PC connection. The company’s SoC is devised to bring ultra-low-power connectivity to IoT products and high-performance wearables. It supports a wide range of medical applications including hearing aids, heart rate monitors, fitness trackers, glucose monitors and pulse oximeters.
