Nutube is a twin triode device in a single package ideal for stereo amplifier application. It is available now from RS Components. It offers the rich warm sounding harmonics of conventional vacuum tubes of a conventional valve amplifier.
It combines the benefits of vacuum fluorescent display technology with a conventional anode, grid, and filament operating in a similar way to a triode valve. Low power less than 2% of conventional tubes, low voltage operation and reliability is enhanced giving a service life of up to 30,000 hours.
The device is packaged in a convenient DIL format and it even 'glows' like the original.
