Bourns CDDFN10-3304NA TVS/Steering Diode Array provides ESD, EFT, and Surge protection for high-speed data ports, assisting compliance with IEC 61000-4-2 (ESD), IEC 61000-4-4 (EFT), and IEC 61000-4-5 (Surge) requirements. The device is now available from Mouser. The component comes in a DFN-10 package and combines a 3.3V TVS diode with steering diodes to provide protection for four high-speed data lines. The array has an operating temperature range of -55C to +125C with an ultra-low capacitance of only 1.5 picofarads from each input/output to input/output. The component provides ±30kV contact discharge and ±30kV air discharge ESD protection per IEC 61000-4-2. The device is designed to protect high-speed data ports from ESD transients. For high-speed ports such as Gigabit Ethernet, the ultra-low capacitance of the device minimises signal degradation on each channel. Unlike common competing technologies, the solid-state avalanche technology used in the device does not degrade after multiple ESD events. Ideal for portable electronics, the component is easy to handle with standard pick and place equipment.
