RS Components – Semi-magnetically shielded wire wound chokes provide effective magnetic shielding with lower radiation

Bourns SRN4018TA series semi-shielded power inductors, available now from RS Components, are primarily designed for automotive electronics applications and are AEC-Q200 qualified, but they can also be used on other applications where high inductor reliability is required. These inductors provide effective magnetic shielding with lower radiation compared to unshielded inductors. The devices have a 1µH to 150µH inductance range and offer up to 3.2A rated current. The devices are suitable for automotive systems (driver assistant, infotainment, lighting), power supplies, DC-DC converters, digital video cameras, smartphones, televisions and LCD displays.
