Semtech SC431 adjustable shunt regulators, available now from Mouser, are three-terminal adjustable shunt regulators with a thermal stability over temperature. These shunt regulators output voltage can be adjusted to any value from 2.5VREF to 30V with two external resistors.
Features of these devices include wide operating current range, low dynamic output impedance, trimmed bandgap, and industrial temperature range. Typical applications include linear regulators, adjustable supplies, switching power supplies, battery-operated computers, instrumentation, and computer disk drives.
