Converter has improved cost and ultra-compact DIP package

Power Sources Unlimited has added the new TDN 5WI series of isolated 5W DC-DC converters to their TRACO Power portfolio. These ultra compact DIP converters are housed in cubical non-conducting FR4 casing that is only 1.23cm3 without any compromise regarding reliability and functionality. They are an economical solution for space critical and cost sensitive applications in industrial, instrumentation, electric vehicle, renewable energy and communications applications. This highly efficient series is available in both single 3.3VDC, 5VDC, 12VDC, 15VDC, 24VDC and dual ±5VDC, ±12VDC and ±15VDC output voltages, Offering a 4:1 wide input voltage ranges of 4.5-12VDC, 9-36VDC and 19-75VDC. Standard features include remote On/Off, overload and short circuit protection, fully regulated outputs,1600VDC I/O isolation and an operating temperature range of -40C to +75C without derating. An input filter makes the converters comply with conducted emission EN 55022 Class A or B and EN 61000-4-6 ESD immunity standard.
