Intelliconnect can now provide a wide range of Cryogenic interconnect products. These high reliability cable assemblies use only the highest quality materials including: stainless steel or niobium titanium cables and assemblies with bandwidths up to 40GHz and cupro-nickel cables, raw St/St and NbTi cables, crimp SMA and 2.9mm connectors, hermetic connectors, sealed adaptors, attenuators and low temperature hardware. Their cryogenic cables work to 2K (-271.15C) and typical applications include low temperature testing, medical and materials research. With so many diverse applications for cryogenic cables the company works closely with customers to find the optimum high reliability solution for unique custom designs through to high volume requirements. Customers can also specify their own cable assemblies using an online cable configurator from which they will provide a quotation by return. All their cable assemblies and their market leading waterproof RF connector range are manufactured in the UK providing fast delivery and very competitive pricing. Intelliconnect has its own brand of semi-flexible 0.085” (I405) and 0.141” (I402) cables designed to compete with Multiflex, T-Flex and Flexiform cables which are suitable for industrial, defence, security and test system applications. These cables offer a lighter, more flexible alternative to semi-rigid types making system assembly and interconnection easier. Any small reductions in performance compared with semi-rigid cables are more than compensated for by competitive pricing and compatibility with standard semi-rigid cable connectors. Roy Phillips, managing director of Intelliconnect, comments,” Manufacturing cryogenic cables requires specialist skills and equipment and our investment in this market is being rewarded by steadily increasing sales. Our cable harness and RF connector business are both seeing excellent growth and sales of our UK designed and manufactured connector ranges are more competitive than ever thanks to the recent changes in exchange rates.”
