New five-way switch-based industrial joystick

APEM has introduced a new industrial joystick line. The new NV series switch-based miniature joystick offers four directional outputs plus a fifth centre pushbutton option providing a positive, tactile feedback in all directions for precise and secure fingertip control. This compact 16mm series is available with either a castle or conical shaped actuator and numerous colour options. With a chrome-plated metal case and IP69K sealing, the durable series is designed to withstand all types of adverse conditions such as water, frost, dust, sand and hydrocarbons, while maintaining its tactile feedback during excessive shock and vibration. Rated at over one million mechanical lifecycles per direction, the ergonomic, customizable and extremely robust series is ideal in remote control applications which require a compact and highly reliable navigational control.
