PWM controllers have high efficiency across wide input and output conditions

03-10-2016 | Mouser Electronics | Power

Stocked by Mouser, the Fairchild FAN602 offline quasi-resonant PWM controllers achieve a power density of =10W/in³ in universal input range AC/DC flyback isolated power supplies. The controllers have high efficiency across wide input and output conditions and are housed in a small form factor. The devices incorporate quasi-resonant (QR) control with proprietary Valley Switching with a limited frequency variation. ?The devices have user configurable burst mode entry and exit to maximize light load efficiency and minimize audible noise. An adaptive burst mode entry level allows for an adaptive charger application.
