DDR4 SDRAM delivers high-speed SDRAM in a small FBGA-96 package

ISSI IS43Q 4Gb DDR4 SDRAM, available from Mouser, delivers high-speed SDRAM in a small FBGA-96 package. It is internally configured as eight banks, two bank group with four banks for each bankgroup for x16 DRAM. The DDR4 SDRAM uses an 8n prefetch architecture to achieve high-speed operation. The 8n prefetch architecture is combined with an interface designed to transfer two data words per clock cycle at the I/O pins. Applications include telecom and networking, automotive, and industrial embedded computing.
