Mouser are now stocking the Telegesis ETRX35x ZigBee modules from Silicon Labs. Based on their ZigBee-compliant platform of EM358x SoCs and the ZigBee PRO-compliant EmberZNet stack, the modules are small, low-power 2.4GHz modules designed to be easily integrated into devices. Providing powerful wireless networking capability with quick time-to-market, the family includes the ETRX358x modules, designed for add connectivity to Thread technology, a low-power, IPv6-addressable, self-healing mesh network with advanced security implemented at the networking layer. The modules are complete, fully certified wireless modules that integrate the antenna and provide a pre-certified RF design. Based on an ARM Cortex-M3 processor, and offering up to 512kBytes of flash memory and up to 64kBytes of RAM, the modules are available with either an integrated chip antenna or U.FL coaxial connector. The highly flexible modules are packed with a robust set of features such as JTAG Programming and real-time packet tracing, hardware-supported AES-128 encryption, 24 GPIO, 16 radio channels, a 250kbit/s over-the-air data rate, and a robust Wi-Fi and Bluetooth coexistence. To help engineers advance their connectivity designs to existing and future IoT applications, Mouser also stocks the fully tested and approved low power mesh networking devices that are ready for use with Thread technology. As with other devices within the family, the ETRX3585, ETRX3587, and ETRX3588 modules are based on the best-in-class ETRX357, and come packed with many of the same module and radio features. Designed for enabling reliable, secure, and scalable Internet connectivity solutions, the Thread-ready modules offer engineers a simple migration path to quickly and easily drop a future-proof solution into a variety of existing RF wireless board designs as well as smart metering, medical, smart lighting, building control, and home automation applications.
