Available from Mouser, Toshiba’s TLP2745 photocouplers consist of a GaAlAs infrared LED and an integrated high-gain and high-speed photodetector. These photocouplers are housed in a thin SO6L package of 2.3mm (max) and are compliant with international safety standards. The photocouplers operate in a power supply voltage range of 4.5V to 30V with the maximum operating temperature of 110C. These photocouplers have a totem-pole output stage with current sourcing and sinking capabilities. The device has an internal Faraday noise shield, providing a guaranteed common-mode transient immunity of ±35kV/µs. The applications include intelligent power module signal isolation, PLCs, and high-speed digital interfacing for instrumentation and control devices.
