Low-voltage motor drivers optimised for battery-powered and portable applications

23-08-2016 | Mouser Electronics | Power

STMicroelectronics low-voltage STSPIN motor drivers, available from Mouser, are optimised for battery-powered, portable applications. The STSPIN are housed in small 3mm x 3mm QFN packages. The drivers integrate control logic and a high-efficiency power stage. This drives a stepper, single and double DC, and three-phase brushless DC motors. The drivers are optimised for battery operated systems requirements. The new low-voltage STSPIN motor drivers have low input voltage, low noise, and minimal power consumption at full load and in standby conditions. The drivers have accurate positioning and smoothness of motion with up to 256 micro steps per full step.
