Type-C connectors compatible with next generation USB Type-C specifications

JAE Electronics DX07 Series USB Type-C connectors, stocked by Mouser, are compatible with the next generation USB Type-C specifications. They feature a reversible plug orientation and support SuperSpeed USB 10Gbps communication and 5A max power supply. The next-generation USB Type-C has been defined by the USB-IF as an I/O connector specification for mobile phones, various PCs, and imaging devices. The DX07 long thru-hole connector is a DX07 receptacle with extended thru-hole legs for additional PCB retention. The DX07 slim plug is minimised to 1.7mm in the longitudinal direction and 1.5mm in the width direction from the size of the standard plug. Typical applications include mobile phones, smartphones, tablet PC, notebook PC, TV, compact LCD displays, digital still cameras, digital video cameras, and other compact hand-held devices.
